Mission Trip: Romania

Dear Friends and Family,

Today we had a chance to visit the church where Tibor Kiss was a pastor for ten years. Tibor’s wife made a welcome addition to our team. While Tibor was pastor, he renovated. the church, built a new manse, and relocated and rebuilt an historical village house as a museum We had the opportunity to tour all three. The church dates back to the 12th century. We enjoyed meeting Zsolt Hover, the new pastor, his wife, teacher at the Hungarian school, and daughter. We also had a chance to meet several members of the congregation, including the former school master, Tibor’s first elder, and his wife, the baker. We visited the bakery and sampled delicious pastries. I wish you could have tasted them with us. I can’t say enough about the hospitatily of our partners.

Later in the evening we had time for a mini Worldwide Ministries meeting to talk about our experiences and brainstorm ideas. We look forward to meeting with the rest of the care team when we get back. Thank you for all your prayers.

Yours in Christ,
Pat Noga
